Applying for a Stall

If you are interested in having a stall at the market, you need to download and complete an application form. Please read all the information on the form carefully because we cannot process incomplete applications. Closing date for applications is normally about four weeks before the market date.

You will also need to download and complete the relevant Risk Assessment forms.

  • Generic Risk Assessment form (all stalls)
  • Fire Risk Assessment (hot food stalls)
  • Types of Risk (hot food catering).

Applications for a stall must be completed and posted to the address given on the form and MUST be accompanied by a cheque for the fee and an up-to-date certificate of Public Liability Insurance.

NB If you are applying for a stall at the market please be aware that some Covid secure restrictions may still be still required.

Stall prices

Hot food stalls £80, cold food £60, all other stalls cost £40 – payable with your application.

Each stall space is 3m x 3m and stall holders are required to supply their own tables , gazebos etc.

In normal circumstances, we have an area of the market devoted to children’s entertainment and activities. In this period of uncertainty we are not yet sure of what will be possible or advisable in the way of festive activities. However, if we can, we will!

A regular feature of every market is the live entertainment provided by local musicians and the Boogie Merchant disco. Please get in touch if you would like to take part.
