Applying for a Stall

If you are interested in having a stall at the market, you need to  complete an application form. Please read all the information on the form carefully because we cannot process incomplete applications. Closing date for applications is normally about six weeks before the market date.

If you would prefer to stick to the paper form for now, you can download the paper form from the forms panel on this page.

No applications by email will be accepted.

Closing date for December applications is 19 October 2024

You will also need to complete the relevant Risk Assessment forms.

  • Generic Risk Assessment form (all stalls)
  • Fire Risk Assessment (hot food stalls)
  • Types of Risk (hot food catering).

Applications for a stall MUST be accompanied by an up-to-date certificate of Public Liability Insurance.

Payment

Payment must be made as soon as stalls are allocated in order to confirm the place. The payment can be made in a number of ways:

  • on-line card payment via SumUp
  • cheque sent with application form

Stall prices

Hot food stalls £95, cold food £70, other stalls £45, table top stall inside Peaks £25 – payable with your application.

Each stall space is 3m x 3m and stall holders are required to supply their own tables , gazebos etc.

A regular feature of every market is the live entertainment provided by local musicians and the Boogie Merchant disco. Please get in touch if you would like to take part.
